Making it Real

The Challenge

Men’s clothing subscriptions feel outdated or generic, especially for younger users with modern tastes.

The Solution

A mobile app delivering curated outfits based on personal style - unisex, modern, and easy to use.

Research

My research process included user interviews, surveys, an affinity map, persona creation, and competitive analysis. These methods helped uncover key frustrations like decision fatigue, generic offerings, and time constraints. The insights directly informed the app’s structure, feature prioritization, and focus on personalization and ease of use.

User Flows & Wirferames

Next, I translated user insights into simple, intuitive flows - focusing on onboarding, the style quiz, and browsing curated outfits. Early wireframes prioritized clarity and ease, helping shape a personalized experience that felt more like inspiration than online shopping.

Branding & Design

With the structure in place, I developed a clean, modern visual style that balanced edge and inclusivity. The UI kit featured neutral tones with bold red accents, structured typography, and reusable components to keep the app cohesive and confident throughout.

Prototyping & Final Design

With the UI system in place, I created high-fidelity mockups and built an interactive prototype to bring the experience to life. The final designs focus on clean navigation, curated visuals, and an editorial feel that sets BAG apart from traditional subscription services.
